You're basically the sum of all the experiences you've ever had and they're sort of shaken up in you and reproduced in the things you create and that includes seeing movies.
I find that when you see somebody in the tabloids all the time you have no desire to see them in movies.

I was influenced when I was younger by the cartoon movies that Disney put out like Cinderella and what not. I watched those movies over and over when I was younger and the music is ingrained into my head. Nowadays I'm still humming the tunes. It taught me the fundamentals.
