2 Amazing

  • 1. Anyone who has played the game professionally you're always taught that the ball is the most important most precious thing so when the ball hits the ground it's always a mad scramble. It's amazing how many times there is a fumble and the person who recovers it initially doesn't walk away with the ball.
  • 2. She's 32 and she has three children. She loves to be pregnant but she doesn't want anymore children in her life. So she decided to help another couple. And she's just been amazing.
  • 3. While I'm not a celebrity it's such a weird concept that society has cooked up for us. Astronauts and teachers are much more amazing than actors.

3 Anger

  • 1. I'm not as angry as I used to be. But I can get in touch with that anger pretty quickly if I feel my space is being invaded or somebody is not treating me with the respect that I think I want.

  • 3. Acting in anger and hatred throughout my life I frequently precipitated what I feared most the loss of friendships and the need to rely upon the very people I'd abused.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you're going to stand up there take your vows and be married to them for the rest of your life.
  • 2. Married people from my generation are like an endangered species!
  • 3. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Architecture doesn't come from theory. You don't think your way through a building.
  • 2. The rules of navigation never navigated a ship. The rules of architecture never built a house.
  • 3. Italy is full of historical buildings. And Europe holds a great history of philosophy from Greece until today. I read all those books and see these buildings and I think of where I stand when I design my architecture.
