  • 3. Every time I got 'Amazing Spider-Man' or 'Fantastic Four' or another book firmly on the rails we got pulled into some big event book or crossover and it cost momentum and messed badly with the pacing and structure of the book.

3 Anger

  • 1. Anger is a killing thing: it kills the man who angers for each rage leaves him less than he had been before – it takes something from him.
  • 2. I get in trouble when I say things like 'I'm attracted to violence.' I was a pretty angry kid and I got into military history largely as a way to vent my own anger. As I got older it narrowed down to a more specific focus on individual violence. I'm just trying to understand where it came from.
  • 3. And I think there's something about conservatives frankly – and the Left when it comes to their channels of persuasion are unpersuasive. They are most of them are hate-filled obscenity-clogged rants of anger and hatred.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I have for some time urged that a nuclear abolition summit to mark the effective end of the nuclear era be convened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 70th anniversary of the bombings of those cities with the participation of national leaders and representatives of global civil society.
  • 2. As the third anniversary of the September 11th attacks draws near we must ensure our nation is prepared to handle the continued threat of violence and terrorism on our country.
  • 3. Strike an average between what a woman thinks of her husband a month before she marries him and what she thinks of him a year afterward and you will have the truth about him.

5 Architecture

  • 1. At this present time matter is still the best way to think of architecture but I'm not so sure for very long. The computer is radicalizing the way we think about our world.
  • 2. Make big plans aim high in hope and work remembering that a noble logical diagram once recorded will not die.
  • 3. The mother art is architecture. Without an architecture of our own we have no soul of our own civilization.
