When I was growing up in Mississippi – it was good Southern food… but I also grew up with a Greek family when other kids were eating fried okra we were eating steamed artichokes. So I think it played a big part in my healthy cooking. 2 My family makes these vinegars – out of everything from grapes to peaches and cherries. We go through the whole process with the giant vat and drainer label them and give them as Christmas presents.
3 We don't have the luxury of time. We spend more because of how we live but it's important to be with our family and friends.
