What is the good of drawing conclusions from experience? I don't deny we sometimes draw the right conclusions but don't we just as often draw the wrong ones?

1 Age

  • 1. I did successfully kick tobacco at the age of 34. I smoked for like 20 years from 14 to 34.
  • 2. Everyone knows that by far the happiest and universally enjoyable age of man is the first. What is there about babies which makes us hug and kiss and fondle them so that even an enemy would give them help at that age?

2 Amazing

  • 1. Raising a small child as a woman while travelling 10 months out of the year would I believe be something I would not be able or even want to do although with the amazing example of Leila I am no longer so sure.

  • 3. More and more couples are having this negotiation or discussion but I'm still amazed at the number who aren't and where the cultural norm sort of kicks in and they just assume that mom's got to be the one who stays home not dad.

3 Anger

  • 1. Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards for they are subtle and quick to anger.
  • 2. My hope is that out of all the anger and seeming hostility that we hear in some of today's music will come some sort of coalition that will become politically involved.
  • 3. Anger is a great force. If you control it it can be transmuted into a power which can move the whole world.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is an act of will that signifies and involves a mutual gift which unites the spouses and binds them to their eventual souls with whom they make up a sole family – a domestic church.

  • 3. On this important anniversary we must remember that while we have come a long way in eliminating barriers critical work remains to ensure all Americans can live up to their full potential.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Don't clap too hard – it's a very old building.
  • 2. I acquired an admiration for Japanese culture art and architecture and learned of the existence of the game of GO which I still play.
  • 3. All those involved in the construction of an architectural design from the architect to the builder have an attachment to the architecture although it's difficult to quantify the attachment.
