1 Age

  • 1. I want to sell to people my own age because that's the way I write songs.

2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. It's a very difficult thing for people to accept seeing women act out anger on the screen. We're more accustomed to seeing men expressing rage and women crying.
  • 2. I don't think I could play a character that I couldn't relate to somehow. I'm not unfamiliar with frustration anger shame helplessness and a load of other emotions that make up our psycho-soup. I try to focus on that frustration that sense of unfairness and multiply it.
  • 3. My humour has always come from anger but I have to make sure I don't just get angry and jump on a soapbox.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. The secret of a happy marriage is finding the right person. You know they're right if you love to be with them all the time.
  • 2. The day before the anniversary of D-Day we lost a man who was equaled by few and surpassed by none as a leader in the cause of freedom: Ronald Reagan.
  • 3. I was always very grateful to 'em and am grateful to 'em now. I went back a couple of years ago and did their 20th anniversary show. But the longer I stayed on Hee Haw the worse things got for me musically.
