1 Age

  • 1. It is not classified as a pagan religion. The so-called New Age activities and this are not called religions and therefore don't come under the prohibition of mingling church and state that we have in this country.
  • 2. I started in the restaurant business at the age of 19 as a waitress. I loved the atmosphere and the camaraderie of the restaurant business. I loved not having to go to an office. I loved making people happy.
  • 3. Of middle age the best that can be said is that a middle-aged person has likely learned how to have a little fun in spite of his troubles.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I believe that the majority of times the scale tilts toward the good. It's this amazing thing that rolls on and if we get in the flow of it that's God. And if we fight it if we swim the other way we're swimming away from the purest expression of this life.
  • 2. The business that people do in LA on the social level is amazing. You go to a restaurant bump into this guy or that guy. The next day you get a call and they want you in their movie.
  • 3. It's amazing how over time a person's perspective can be altered.

3 Anger

  • 1. Hatred is an affair of the heart contempt that of the head.
  • 2. Every child senses with all the horse sense that's in him that any parent is angry inside when children misbehave and they dread more the anger that is rarely or never expressed openly wondering how awful it might be.
  • 3. Always write angry letters to your enemies. Never mail them.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Mr. Speaker I rise today to recognize the Peace Corps as it reached its 45th anniversary on March 1 2006.
  • 2. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns said they pulled all their political ads today in observance of the September 11th anniversary. But politics wasn't very far offstage. The Obama campaign sees foreign policy as an advantage this year.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I like things that are kind of eclectic when one thing doesn't go with another. That's why I love Rome. The town itself is that way. It's where Fascist architecture meets classic Renaissance where the ancient bangs up against the contemporary. It has a touch of everything. That's my style and that's what my work is about.
  • 2. A man of eighty has outlived probably three new schools of painting two of architecture and poetry and a hundred in dress.
  • 3. Architecture is not an inspirational business it's a rational procedure to do sensible and hopefully beautiful things that's all.
