  • 1. The funniest racism is the racism between minorities. It's something you don't see dramatized but almost every minority I know who's my age they have these funny stories about their parents stereotyping other minorities.

2 Amazing

  • 1. When I go outside of L.A. no matter where it is really anywhere I go people will be stopping me or taking pictures or whatever it is. And it's great. It's amazing. I'm just lucky.

3 Anger

  • 2. I don't think that you can fake warmth. You can fake lust jealousy anger those are all quite easy. But actual genuine warmth? I don't think you can fake it.

5 Architecture

  • 1. If you're into architecture and you're from the West everything is hors d'oeuvres for working to rebuild the Temple. Ultimately you're led there. You can't escape it.
  • 2. It's my goal to make a building as immaterial as possible. Architecture is a very material thing. It takes a lot of resources so why not eliminate what you don't need as long as you're able to achieve the same result?
  • 3. What has happened to architecture since the second world war that the only passers-by who can contemplate it without pain are those equipped with a white stick and a dog?
