  • 1. I think you can't really escape any kind of spiritual education as a child whether it's New Age or Judaism or Buddhism or whatever it is. You can't escape it even if you completely disagree with it you still have it as a foundation that you base things off of.
  • 2. I don't know whether it's age or maturity but I certainly find myself committed more and more to the looser forms of Western democracy at any price.

2 Amazing

  • 1. He's this amazing ambassador for all superheroes. What we've made as a film not only examines that but is also an amazing adventure story. It's been an honor to work on. As a comic book fan Superman is like the Rosetta Stone of all superheroes.
  • 2. Had 'Bridesmaids' not ended up being so amazing and successful we would never have been able to make 'Bachelorette.' So we are in awe of 'Bridesmaids' and totally owe them so much.
  • 3. I mean I've always said I have an amazing team and network of friends and people that I work with that you know inspire me and enable me to do what I do.

3 Anger

  • 1. Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards for they are subtle and quick to anger.
  • 2. We should meet abuse by forbearance. Human nature is so constituted that if we take absolutely no notice of anger or abuse the person indulging in it will soon weary of it and stop.
  • 3. Revenge is often like biting a dog because the dog bit you.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Last week the House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring the victims and heroes of September 11th. As we commemorate the anniversary of 9-11 we must also remember that the threat is still very real today.
  • 2. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns said they pulled all their political ads today in observance of the September 11th anniversary. But politics wasn't very far offstage. The Obama campaign sees foreign policy as an advantage this year.
  • 3. It was very hard for all of us. It's still very hard. The anniversary of his death just passed and every single one of his friends still after all these years… it's unbelievable.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Today's developer is a poor substitute for the committed entrepreneur of the last century for whom the work of architecture represented a chance to celebrate the worth of his enterprise.
  • 2. What has happened to architecture since the second world war that the only passers-by who can contemplate it without pain are those equipped with a white stick and a dog?
  • 3. Architecture is my work and I've spent my whole life at a drawing board but life is more important than architecture. What matters is to improve human beings.
