1 Age

  • 1. Today more than ever we need creative minds to address the issues of the age. And one of the most urgent is this: How can humanity know so much achieve so much and still fail so many people so badly?

2 Amazing

3 Anger

4 Anniversary

5 Architecture

  • 1. Until the Eighties Oslo was a rather boring town but it's changed a lot and is now much more cosmopolitan. If I go downtown I visit the harbour to see the tall ships and the ferries and to admire the modern architecture such as the Opera House or the new Astrup Fearnley Museum on the water's edge.
  • 2. Architecture should speak of its time and place but yearn for timelessness.
  • 3. I feel however that we architects have a special duty and mission… (to contribute) to the socio-cultural development of architecture and urban planning.
