Today's Constitution is a realistic document of freedom only because of several corrective amendments. Those amendments speak to a sense of decency and fairness that I and other Blacks cherish. Previous Article Novelists have always had complete freedom to pretty much tell their story any way they saw fit. And that's what I'm trying to do.
1 We live in a land like no other – a land of freedom and opportunity unparalleled on the face of the globe.
2 We've got to understand that the whole nature of the way American democracy guards its freedom has been changed.
3 When public access to voting is impaired or when public confidence in voting is diluted democracy suffers and our freedom is less secure.
4 If technology has finally caught up with individual liberty why would anyone who loves freedom want to rethink that?
