2 Amazing

  • 1. I like making pies. I have a bunch of fruit trees in my backyard. My loquat tree sprouted and I like making loquat pie. They're really hard to peel and everything and it took me forever but they make the best pies. They're amazing.
  • 2. We are really on top of one another at the moment and I think it is amazing how we stay so close. Maybe that's the test. Why not totally put yourself together rather than always wonder whether you actually like each other?

3 Anger

  • 1. All anger is not sinful because some degree of it and on some occasions is inevitable. But it becomes sinful and contradicts the rule of Scripture when it is conceived upon slight and inadequate provocation and when it continues long.
  • 2. Guilt is anger directed at ourselves – at what we did or did not do. Resentment is anger directed at others – at what they did or did not do.
  • 3. I did not want to put myself on the line as an Australian playing Britain's greatest comic actor. The fans of Sellers are obsessive possessive – and aggressive. I did not want to risk their anger – or my own reputation.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.
  • 2. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.
  • 3. Last week the House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring the victims and heroes of September 11th. As we commemorate the anniversary of 9-11 we must also remember that the threat is still very real today.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I believe that the way people live can be directed a little by architecture.
  • 2. I left science then I went into art but I approach things very analytically. I choose to pursue both art and architecture as completely separate fields rather than merging them.
  • 3. Less is more.
