  • 1. I lived the true American dream because I was able to pursue what I set as my goals at a very young age.
  • 2. I'm at peace with myself and where I am. In the past I was always looking to see how everybody else was doing. I wasn't competitive I was comparative. I just wanted to be where everybody else was. Now I've gotten to an age when I am not comparing anymore.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I have experienced some amazing food! Yet when I think about the most luxurious and exquisite meals I have had visions of simple food made from a few natural ingredients are what most excite me.
  • 2. I think we love bacon because it has all the qualities of an amazing sensory experience. When we cook it the sizzling sound is so appetizing the aroma is maddening the crunch of the texture is so gratifying and the taste delivers every time.
  • 3. The racing driver's mind has to have the ability to have amazing anticipation coordination and reflex. Because of the speed the car goes.

3 Anger

  • 1. Violence is a problem we all want to solve. I want to make sure that kids learn to deal with anger by learning how to talk with people to solve problems. Here in the United States Senate I want to make sure we have safe schools safe neighborhoods and good things for kids to do after school!
  • 2. I am ready to accept all accusations allegations anger – but I have to succeed.
  • 3. The ignorant mind with its infinite afflictions passions and evils is rooted in the three poisons. Greed anger and delusion.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. One should believe in marriage as in the immortality of the soul.
  • 2. There is no more lovely friendly and charming relationship communion or company than a good marriage.
  • 3. Next month I will celebrate my 30th anniversary of marriage with my beautiful bride Vicki. Our marriage has been a blessing. I have gained even more respect for the institution over the past 3 decades and will defend it against attack.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I'm often called an old-fashioned modernist. But the modernists had the absurd idea that architecture could heal the world. That's impossible. And today nobody expects architects to have these grand visions any more.
  • 2. They can do without architecture who have no olives nor wines in the cellar.
  • 3. The aesthetic of architecture has to be rooted in a broader idea about human activities like walking relaxing and communicating. Architecture thinks about how these activities can be given added value.
