  • 1. At my age it is unseemly to be pessimistic.
  • 2. I started writing when I had three kids under the age of 4. I used to write every ten minutes I got to sit in front of a computer. Now when I have more time I function the same way: if it's writing time I write.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Married people from my generation are like an endangered species!
  • 2. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.
  • 3. My last trip to New Orleans was for the fifth anniversary of Katrina and I had the awesome opportunity to bring my family down. We all worked on a house together and met some of the families.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Architecture should speak of its time and place but yearn for timelessness.
