1 Age

  • 1. My sister and I shared a bedroom our entire lives and I believe she discovered the Beatles when she was about 11 and I'm four years younger. So from the age of 7 until 17 we had nothing but Beatles paraphernalia in our room even those little stuffed Beatles that went on stands that are dressed as the Sgt. Pepper band.
  • 2. I basically started playing violin at the age of six. That lasted about three years because my previous teacher died and the second teacher didn't really know how to successfully get me going.
  • 3. I've never been more in love with anyone nearly half my age than I am today. I'd get married in a minute if I weren't still married to somebody else.

2 Amazing

  • 1. When we'd suggested doing it the Theatre Royal management had said 'Nobody wants to see Waiting for Godot.' As it happened every single ticket was booked for every single performance and this confirmation that our judgment was right was sweet. Audiences came to us from all over the world. It was amazing.
  • 2. I got a phone call from Fearne Cotton. It was amazing! I literally couldn't believe it. It was so cool. It was the night before I was going on her show to sing on the 'Live Lounge.' She was so lovely.
  • 3. I'm on an Isabel Marant kick. She does an amazing job of making things that are everyday-wearable but also special and a little bit different. I definitely like that she has a '70s western vibe. There's something that's very fun and vintage in what she's doing.

3 Anger

  • 1. As a culture I see us as presently deprived of subtleties. The music is loud the anger is elevated sex seems lacking in sweetness and privacy.
  • 2. So I'm not worried about the emotions I carry with me because I'm happy that I have them I think it's good for the work I do. The emotions that are not healthy are the ones you hold inside like anger.
  • 3. I had a lot of anger inside me and that came out at times that were not particularly advantageous to me career-wise.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. But to sustain a marriage for 50 years you have to get real a little bit and find someone who is understanding and who you can grow with. My mom always says 'Marry the man who loves you a millimeter more.'

  • 3. Next month I will celebrate my 30th anniversary of marriage with my beautiful bride Vicki. Our marriage has been a blessing. I have gained even more respect for the institution over the past 3 decades and will defend it against attack.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Noble life demands a noble architecture for noble uses of noble men. Lack of culture means what it has always meant: ignoble civilization and therefore imminent downfall.
  • 2. The English light is so very subtle so very soft and misty that the architecture responded with great delicacy of detail.
  • 3. I've never owned an Apple product. I like the fact that PCs are open architecture and not locked down like Apple products. I feel that Macs are also unjustifiably overpriced.
