1 Age

  • 1. We should so provide for old age that it may have no urgent wants of this world to absorb it from meditation on the next. It is awful to see the lean hands of dotage making a coffer of the grave.

2 Amazing

  • 1. The satisfaction you get when you finally beat your dad is amazing that rush of adrenaline.

3 Anger

  • 3. I don't think that you can fake warmth. You can fake lust jealousy anger those are all quite easy. But actual genuine warmth? I don't think you can fake it.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Strike an average between what a woman thinks of her husband a month before she marries him and what she thinks of him a year afterward and you will have the truth about him.
  • 2. Why does a woman work ten years to change a man's habits and then complain that he's not the man she married?
  • 3. We had a relationship that lasted 44 years. Herbert and I lived together 10 years before we were married. He always gave me a little heart for whatever anniversary.

5 Architecture

  • 1. But I absolutely believe that architecture is a social activity that has to do with some sort of communication or places of interaction and that to change the environment is to change behaviour.
  • 2. Make big plans aim high in hope and work remembering that a noble logical diagram once recorded will not die.
