I am not opposed to intelligence reform on its face but any changes should reflect the current context.

  • 1. Age merely shows what children we remain.

2 Amazing

  • 1. The Academy Awards was an amazing night. I know I kind of lost my mind a little bit. I apologize for that. That night went so fast I can't remember what I said or what happened.
  • 2. If you pay attention to the world it's an amazing place. If you don't it's whatever you think it is.
  • 3. I spend up to two hours a day on correspondence. Hearing from fans on the Internet and being able to directly respond to the fan base is exciting. You can cut out the middle man like the fan club… before a recent appearance in Tyler Texas I had fans reaching out on MySpace offering their lake house Mavericks tickets. It was amazing.

3 Anger

  • 1. But one of the hardest things for me to do was to access anger. I could do it on stage. But when I did it on film it was hard for me. That probably has to do with the intimacy of film. And my own personal issues with expressing anger. So I had to learn how to do that.
  • 2. Anger is a great force. If you control it it can be transmuted into a power which can move the whole world.
  • 3. I may have been the only candidate in America who failed to ride the wave of anti-establishment anger to victory.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.
  • 2. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.
  • 3. You marry somebody you love everything about them. You grow to learn about them. You never learn everything.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The job of buildings is to improve human relations: architecture must ease them not make them worse.
  • 2. If you give people nothingness they can ponder what can be achieved from that nothingness.
  • 3. Every one who has a heart however ignorant of architecture he may be feels the transcendent beauty and poetry of the mediaeval churches.
