  • 1. For the moment I prefer to be a beautiful woman of my age than try desperately to look 30.
  • 2. What I think is amazing is not that 85% of people who get married under the age of 25 get divorced it's that 15% of them stay together. How did they manage to pull that off? You almost can't wait too long. It's the single simplest measure to predict divorce.

2 Amazing

  • 1. Growing up I looked up to major league baseball players and now these young women have amazing incredible women all across the board from swimming to gymnastics to softball to basketball.
  • 2. My parents were kind of like me in that they had tons and tons of weird amazing stuff.
  • 3. Innovation is this amazing intersection between someone's imagination and the reality in which they live. The problem is many companies don't have great imagination but their view of reality tells them that it's impossible to do what they imagine.

3 Anger

  • 1. My humour has always come from anger but I have to make sure I don't just get angry and jump on a soapbox.
  • 2. As the plane got closer to Miami I had this terrible feeling he was dying. Maybe he was telling me that he was going. I felt anger panic despair and helplessness.
  • 3. Being told about the effects of climate change is an appeal to our reason and to our desire to bring about change. But to see that Africans are the hardest hit by climate change even though they generate almost no greenhouse gas is a glaring injustice which also triggers anger and outrage over those who seek to ignore it.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Each year on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth America has the opportunity to reflect on our nation's progress towards the realization of his dream.
  • 2. More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse.
  • 3. I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you're going to stand up there take your vows and be married to them for the rest of your life.

5 Architecture

  • 1. When I'm in London Claridge's is a great favourite. I'm a big fan of art deco architecture and the rooms are extraordinary.
  • 2. I left science then I went into art but I approach things very analytically. I choose to pursue both art and architecture as completely separate fields rather than merging them.
  • 3. And when an architect has designed a house with large windows which is a necessity today in order to pull the daylight into these very deep houses then curtains come to play a big role in architecture.
