Since the printing press came into being poetry has ceased to be the delight of the whole community of man it has become the amusement and delight of the few. Previous Article Poetry is a mixture of common sense which not all have with an uncommon sense which very few have.
Next Article Poetry is innocent not wise. It does not learn from experience because each poetic experience is unique.
3 The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.
4 I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time in my head and I occasionally snip off a length.
