There are many countries where you can only believe more or you can believe less. But in the United States we have this incredible smorgasbord and it really interests me why people are drawn to one faith rather than another especially to a system of belief that to an outsider seems absurd or dangerous.

  • 1. We live in an age where anonymity is growing in magnitude like a bomb going off.

2 Amazing

  • 1. 'True Blood' is amazing. I have to give a shout out to 'Melrose Place' because I do watch. I love 'Entourage.' One of my favorite shows back in the day was 'Friday Night Lights.'
  • 2. I made some friends who are still friends and this is the city of my birth. I love living here when there's a reason to other than just moving here. I still don't like the winters here but it's an amazing city and I love it.

3 Anger

5 Architecture

  • 1. Building art is a synthesis of life in materialised form. We should try to bring in under the same hat not a splintered way of thinking but all in harmony together.
  • 2. Bridges are perhaps the most invisible form of public architecture.
  • 3. I probably spent the first 20 years of my life wanting to be as American as possible. Through my 20s and into my 30s I began to become aware of how so much of my art and architecture has a decidedly Eastern character.
