I kept hearing that my delivery of my poetry – which was very personal and cathartic at the time- was very moving to folks. People thought that I was an actress because of my delivery when I was just dropping into the work and really pouring out my soul.

  • 3. We live in an age where anonymity is growing in magnitude like a bomb going off.

2 Amazing

  • 1. First let me report that the art in the Barnes Collection has never looked better. My trips to the old Barnes were always amazing but except on the sunniest days you could barely see the art. The building always felt pushed beyond its capacity.
  • 2. I just believe that the feeling of wonder is amazing. I am pushing myself as far as I can humanly push myself… I can only hope for the best and expect the worse.
  • 3. I'm proud of the U.S.A. We've done some amazing things. To wear our flag in the Olympics is an honor.

3 Anger

  • 1. On banks I make no apology for attacking spivs and gamblers who did more harm to the British economy than Bob Crow could achieve in his wildest Trotskyite fantasies while paying themselves outrageous bonuses underwritten by the taxpayer. There is much public anger about banks and it is well deserved.
  • 2. Hatred is inveterate anger.
  • 3. Anger's not a good emotion.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. It was very hard for all of us. It's still very hard. The anniversary of his death just passed and every single one of his friends still after all these years… it's unbelievable.
  • 2. A wedding anniversary is the celebration of love trust partnership tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.
  • 3. The concept of two people living together for 25 years without a serious dispute suggests a lack of spirit only to be admired in sheep.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Spiritual space is lost in gaining convenience. I saw the need to create a mixture of Japanese spiritual culture and modern western architecture.
  • 2. Designed by architects with honorable intentions but hands of palsy.
  • 3. Architecture is basically a container of something. I hope they will enjoy not so much the teacup but the tea.
