Let me read you some of my poetry. My poetry just takes me to another level.

The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.

I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time in my head and I occasionally snip off a length.

1 Age

  • 1. What I think is amazing is not that 85% of people who get married under the age of 25 get divorced it's that 15% of them stay together. How did they manage to pull that off? You almost can't wait too long. It's the single simplest measure to predict divorce.
  • 2. At a young age I was interested in comic books which was really how I learnt to read. The name Cage came from a comic book character called Power Man.
  • 3. The terror of the atom age is not the violence of the new power but the speed of man's adjustment to it the speed of his acceptance.

2 Amazing

  • 1. Going to a concert is so overwhelming and the energy is amazing.
  • 2. And my first film was Carnal Knowledge another amazing experience largely because of Mike Nichols who would tell me you can't do anything wrong because you're doing everything right.
  • 3. The thing that's tricky is sometimes the best voices – just because someone hits the big notes and sounds amazing – it doesn't necessarily mean they make the greatest artists.

3 Anger

  • 1. I had a lot of anger because I wasn't happy with the way I had been raised.
  • 2. Speak the truth do not yield to anger give if thou art asked for little by these three steps thou wilt go near the gods.
  • 3. Anger's not a good emotion.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.
  • 2. Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut and a woman who can't sleep with the window open.
  • 3. One should believe in marriage as in the immortality of the soul.

5 Architecture

  • 1. We all love musical architecture there's no doubt about that.
  • 2. If a building becomes architecture then it is art.
  • 3. Georgian architecture respected the scale of both the individual and the community.
