Let me read you some of my poetry. My poetry just takes me to another level.

The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.

I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time in my head and I occasionally snip off a length.

1 Age

  • 1. My age and health will never allow me to realize the dream of art I've been pursuing all my life.
  • 2. I really think we should pass a law in every state I don't care whether it takes the independence away from an old person or not. You shouldn't be driving a car if you're over the age of 80. Maybe even less than that.

2 Amazing

  • 1. It's amazing how stress keeps you trim.
  • 2. It's amazing how fast generations lose sight of other generations. One of the first things the young composers who come to work with me say is that they want to write music people will like instead of gaining their credentials by being rejected by the audience.
  • 3. Big dress cocktails party – I love that. It is my work but my work allow me to have glamour to wear beautiful and amazing dresses to go to big ceremonies.

3 Anger

  • 1. Take the high road. No matter how much strife and consternation frustration and anger you might be confronted with – don't go to that level.
  • 2. A little anger is a good thing if it isn't on your own behalf if it's for others deserving of your anger your empathy.
  • 3. As a culture I see us as presently deprived of subtleties. The music is loud the anger is elevated sex seems lacking in sweetness and privacy.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. The concept of two people living together for 25 years without a serious dispute suggests a lack of spirit only to be admired in sheep.
  • 2. We can't forget what happened on May 4th 1970 when four students gave up their lives because they had the American constitutional right of peaceful protest. They gave up their lives. And to sing that song in that spot on that anniversary was very emotional for us.
  • 3. My last trip to New Orleans was for the fifth anniversary of Katrina and I had the awesome opportunity to bring my family down. We all worked on a house together and met some of the families.

5 Architecture

  • 1. To me a building – if it's beautiful – is the love of one man he's made it out of his love for space materials things like that.
  • 2. Less is more.
  • 3. The way of architecture is the quiet voice that underlies it and has guided it from the beginning.
