Paul persuaded me to join the band. I would never have had the courage otherwise. It was fun at the beginning. We were playing just for fun with Paul's group.
In my old age I have been thinking about this and I have reached the conclusion that those who have physical courage also have moral courage.

The quality that defines us as Americans is the courage to respond to being hit. The courage to root out and destroy the killers. And most importantly the courage to hold on to our values and protect our hard-won freedoms while doing it.
