I am not opposed to intelligence reform on its face but any changes should reflect the current context.

It is not government's job to mandate responsibility on our behalf. We have the intelligence and good sense to make wise consumption choices for ourselves and our children. It is up to us to do what is best for our health and our children's health.

People don't want to believe that technology is broken. Pharmaceuticals robotics artificial intelligence nanotechnology – all these areas where the progress has been a lot more limited than people think. And the question is why.

  • 1. I think the biggest disease the world suffers from in this day and age is the disease of people feeling unloved. I know that I can give love for a minute for half an hour for a day for a month but I can give. I am very happy to do that I want to do that.
  • 2. You have to be desirable. And that's why so many woman of my age or even younger are pushed to Botox and plastic surgery all the things that people say 'Why do women do this?' Where do you go in your 50s in your career?

2 Amazing

  • 1. Training in taekwondo for eight years and then being able to do it in a film was pretty amazing.

3 Anger

  • 1. Keep your temper. A decision made in anger is never sound.
  • 2. The voice of the intelligence is drowned out by the roar of fear. It is ignored by the voice of desire. It is contradicted by the voice of shame. It is biased by hate and extinguished by anger. Most of all it is silenced by ignorance.
  • 3. If a small thing has the power to make you angry does that not indicate something about your size?

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Experts on romance say for a happy marriage there has to be more than a passionate love. For a lasting union they insist there must be a genuine liking for each other. Which in my book is a good definition for friendship.
  • 2. See the 'On the Road' that came out in 1957 was censored. A lot of the honesty of it the bitter honesty is in the original scroll version that came out in 2007 on the 50-year anniversary. Back then there was so much post-Second World War fear that was imposed on everybody – 'You must live life this way' – and these guys were bored.
  • 3. The secret of a happy marriage is finding the right person. You know they're right if you love to be with them all the time.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Any architectural project we do takes at least four or five years so increasingly there is a discrepancy between the acceleration of culture and the continuing slowness of architecture.
  • 2. I like to play with architecture! It's my favorite game.
  • 3. Poetry is not only dream and vision it is the skeleton architecture of our lives. It lays the foundations for a future of change a bridge across our fears of what has never been before.
