My whole working philosophy is that the only stable happiness for mankind is that it shall live married in blessed union to woman-kind – intimacy physical and psychical between a man and his wife. I wish to add that my state of bliss is by no means perfect.

  • 1. I figured out it was a social thing what women were allowed to do. At a very young age I decided I was not going to follow women's rules.
  • 2. I'm asked all the time in interviews about who I am and I know a few people my age who have a strong sense of self but I couldn't say I know myself and sum it up and give it to you in a little package. I don't know myself at all yet.
  • 3. I believe that the fight against crime starts in the home. Parents must take responsibility for their children and show them love and guidance from an early age so they learn to respect the rights of others.

2 Amazing

  • 1. In the past few years we've been doing amazing stuff with desserts. Pastry chefs have been using herbs and spices in their desserts. So vanilla cake doesn't have to be just vanilla it can have a little thyme. Or you could have a custard with a little lavender in it which is just amazing.
  • 2. I finish so many books it's amazing. I'm also doing Rosetta Stone learning some French.
  • 3. The resilience of these people is amazing. I am a great believer that the sooner we get things up and running in terms of sport in this area the better.

3 Anger

  • 1. Men make angry music and it's called rock-and-roll women include anger in their vocabulary and suddenly they're angry and militant.
  • 2. George wrote Taxman and I played guitar on it. He wrote it in anger at finding out what the taxman did. He had never known before then what could happen to your money.
  • 3. Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards for they are subtle and quick to anger.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is a coming together for better or for worse hopefully enduring and intimate to the degree of being sacred.
  • 2. I have for some time urged that a nuclear abolition summit to mark the effective end of the nuclear era be convened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 70th anniversary of the bombings of those cities with the participation of national leaders and representatives of global civil society.
  • 3. So I think you have to marry for the right reasons and marry the right person.

5 Architecture

  • 1. In art or architecture your project is only done when you say it's done. If you want to rip it apart at the eleventh hour and start all over again you never finish. I was one of those crazy creatures.
  • 2. Architecture is involved with the world but at the same time it has a certain autonomy. This autonomy cannot be explained in terms of traditional logic because the most interesting parts of the work are non-verbal. They operate within the terms of the work like any art.
  • 3. Of course I know very little about architecture and the older I get the less I know.
