  • 2. Setting a good example for your children takes all the fun out of middle age.
  • 3. My grandparents got married at a very young age and a lot of what I think about marriage is based on their relationship.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I basically left Texas with no money. I was making $3.50 working in some mall so I didn't have a lot of cash. I took $1 000 and headed to California. Along the way I stopped in Vegas because I had always wanted to see Caesar's Palace. So I stopped there and won $2 500 on a slot machine! It was amazing.
  • 2. I think Serena Williams is the best tennis player of this generation if not the best ever. It is amazing for her to be playing as well as she is at the age of 31.
  • 3. I'll tell you Quentin Tarantino really writes the most amazing dialogue.

3 Anger

  • 1. The great thing about celebrity culture is that they can't seem to stop themselves from displaying their ridiculous behaviour. I feel it's my job as a serious investigative journalist to witness all kinds of behaviour and then report back to the audience through the prism of my own anger and bitterness.
  • 2. The Anger Management Tour was another beautiful thing. I loved that tour.
  • 3. It is wise to direct your anger towards problems – not people to focus your energies on answers – not excuses.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.
  • 2. On July 18 we will mark the 12th anniversary of the senseless loss of 85 lives in the bombing of the Jewish Cultural Center in Buenos Aires Argentina.
  • 3. The concept of two people living together for 25 years without a serious dispute suggests a lack of spirit only to be admired in sheep.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I'm often called an old-fashioned modernist. But the modernists had the absurd idea that architecture could heal the world. That's impossible. And today nobody expects architects to have these grand visions any more.
  • 2. Escape from the architecture ghetto is one of the major drivers and has been from the very beginning.
  • 3. If you're into architecture and you're from the West everything is hors d'oeuvres for working to rebuild the Temple. Ultimately you're led there. You can't escape it.
