  • 1. At an early age I started my own paper route. Once I saw how you could service people and do a good job and get paid for it I just wanted to be the best I could be in whatever I did.

2 Amazing

  • 1. Innovation is this amazing intersection between someone's imagination and the reality in which they live. The problem is many companies don't have great imagination but their view of reality tells them that it's impossible to do what they imagine.
  • 2. We are really on top of one another at the moment and I think it is amazing how we stay so close. Maybe that's the test. Why not totally put yourself together rather than always wonder whether you actually like each other?
  • 3. I feel like I'm really blessed and lucky that I have a very good social life outside of the gym and I have a really amazing family. My parents are so supportive. I have a younger brother and two younger sisters and they're really awesome. So I feel like I get the best of both worlds.

3 Anger

  • 1. I think anger and laughter are very close to each other when you think about it.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Love grows more tremendously full swift poignant as the years multiply.
  • 2. The chances of a reunion now are less likely. I was thinking of having a 40th anniversary of the band but now they are really another band so it's all a bit weird.
  • 3. The secret of a happy marriage is finding the right person. You know they're right if you love to be with them all the time.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I'm often called an old-fashioned modernist. But the modernists had the absurd idea that architecture could heal the world. That's impossible. And today nobody expects architects to have these grand visions any more.
  • 2. I search for surprise in my architecture. A work of art should cause the emotion of newness.
  • 3. Even at the United Nations where legend has it that the building was designed so that there could be no corner offices the expanse of glass in individual offices is said to be a dead giveaway as to rank. Five windows are excellent one window not so great.
