3 Anger

  • 1. If anger proceeds from a great cause it turns to fury if from a small cause it is peevishness and so is always either terrible or ridiculous.
  • 2. When someone says that I'm angry it's actually a compliment. I have not always been direct with my anger in my relationships which is part of why I'd write about it in my songs because I had such fear around expressing anger as a woman.
  • 3. Anger is a good motivator.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.

5 Architecture

  • 1. But after the time there I'd had it with fashion again so I left to go to architecture school in a summer course at Harvard which didn't last very long.
