2 Amazing

3 Anger

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Actually the year anniversary of what you just heard my son Grahame and I are going to be in a play together and I'm acting for the first time in front of an audience that doesn't consist of a high school drama class.
  • 2. The chances of a reunion now are less likely. I was thinking of having a 40th anniversary of the band but now they are really another band so it's all a bit weird.
  • 3. You marry somebody you love everything about them. You grow to learn about them. You never learn everything.

5 Architecture

  • 1. In my early 20s I was so miserable doing construction I wanted something that paid money. I liked nice stuff. I liked cars and architecture and things that cost money. I wanted to not swing a hammer and make money… and not do stuff that was dirty. I attempted to get into comedy. I started to do stand-up but I wasn't very good at it.
  • 2. I feel however that we architects have a special duty and mission… (to contribute) to the socio-cultural development of architecture and urban planning.
  • 3. I've always liked traveling around Europe and seeing the architecture. The buildings in capital cities have been there for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Some look better than the new ones.
