I am not opposed to intelligence reform on its face but any changes should reflect the current context.

  • 1. In an age when the fashion is to be in love with yourself confessing to be in love with somebody else is an admission of unfaithfulness to one's beloved.
  • 2. I was always obsessed with being famous. I had Marilyn Monroe paper dolls as a child and I was always obsessed with her. I've just been really driven in that direction and none of my friends were. So I don't know what put that bug in me at a young age.

I never felt totally 100% patriotically English… I'd seen a lot of the world by an early age – sort of spent a lot of time traveling around Lebanon and I'd seen Babylon and Damascus and all sorts of places in the Middle East by the time I was ten. Then we'd return to Ruslip in West London… Done a fair bit of traveling really.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I love getting dressed up. Being a pop star is the most brilliant job for that. A lot of girls love shopping but they might see the most amazing outfit and think 'When am I going to wear that?' so it's my duty to exploit the fact I do have events I can wear these things to.
  • 2. My mother is an amazing woman. Not only did she manage the entire household she noticed a gift in each of her kids and instilled confidence in all of us that that gift would take us wherever we wanted to go.
  • 3. I get such lovely gifts from fans… amazing pictures handmade jewellery. I'm very lucky!

3 Anger

  • 1. The quickest way to defuse fear or insecurity or anger is usually humor. I think comics figure that out quickly and once you figure it out you think 'Hey if I can do this and get paid that would be kind of cool.'
  • 2. The anger in the Brigade against those who fought the Republic in the rear was sharpened by reports of weapons even tanks being kept from the front and hidden for treacherous purposes.
  • 3. My dear brothers take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen slow to speak and slow to become angry for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Presently the Commission for Commemorating 350 Years of American Jewish History has been brought about to encourage and sponsor a variety of historical activities that advance our understanding of the American Jewish experience as it marks this milestone anniversary.
  • 2. We had a relationship that lasted 44 years. Herbert and I lived together 10 years before we were married. He always gave me a little heart for whatever anniversary.
  • 3. Love grows more tremendously full swift poignant as the years multiply.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Light God's eldest daughter is a principal beauty in a building.
  • 2. A great building must begin with the unmeasurable must go through measurable means when it is being designed and in the end must be unmeasurable.
