3 Anger

  • 3. More marriages might survive if the partners realized that sometimes the better comes after the worse.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Any work of architecture that has with it some discussion some polemic I think is good. It shows that people are interested people are involved.
  • 2. All the revision in the world will not save a bad first draft: for the architecture of the thing comes or fails to come in the first conception and revision only affects the detail and ornament alas!
  • 3. The two elements the traveler first captures in the big city are extra human architecture and furious rhythm. Geometry and anguish.
