1 Age

  • 1. From as long as literally as far back as I can remember I've liked puns word jokes I can literally recall looking at a comic at the age of six or seven and I remember what I enjoyed and what it was precisely and how the joke worked.
  • 2. Our scientific age demands that we provide definitions measurements and statistics in order to be taken seriously. Yet most of the important things in life cannot be precisely defined or measured. Can we define or measure love beauty friendship or decency for example?
  • 3. Age becomes reality when you hear someone refer to that attractive young woman standing next to the woman in the green dress and you find that you're the one in the green dress.

2 Amazing

  • 1. Nobody has it all but for me to even come close is amazing.
  • 2. It's amazing what some people read into songs.
  • 3. I like what I see now in China but I think the Japanese are a step ahead into craziness and weirdness. I go to galleries there that are the size of a New York elevator and every time I'm surprised by the amazing things I find. I really hope I'll be able to promote some of these artists to show their work in the West.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. June 2005 is the five year anniversary of the debut of Battle Pope.
  • 2. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.
  • 3. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture
