1 Age

  • 1. I would love a family. I'm at the age where the wish for a child gets stronger. But who knows.
  • 2. Discrimination due to age is one of the great tragedies of modern life. The desire to work and be useful is what makes life worth living and to be told your efforts are not needed because you are the wrong age is a crime.
  • 3. This is my 20th year in the sport. I've known swimming and that's it. I don't want to swim past age 30 if I continue after this Olympics and come back in 2016 I'll be 31. I'm looking forward to being able to see the other side of the fence.

2 Amazing

  • 1. It's amazing that no matter how much money you have you can make some bad decisions and in five months you're on the street begging.
  • 2. I'm having a great time. I get to travel and see the world. And yeah I'll have a family because I don't want to miss out on that amazing experience but it's not defining who I am.

3 Anger

4 Anniversary

5 Architecture

  • 1. In my early 20s I was so miserable doing construction I wanted something that paid money. I liked nice stuff. I liked cars and architecture and things that cost money. I wanted to not swing a hammer and make money… and not do stuff that was dirty. I attempted to get into comedy. I started to do stand-up but I wasn't very good at it.
  • 2. Architecture is inhabited sculpture.
  • 3. I hate vacations. If you can build buildings why sit on the beach?
