I would love to do a biopic of a famous singer like Diana Ross or Donna Summer or an old jazz story that we haven't seen before. I would love to do that! 1 It's funny to be discovered by a lot of people who didn't know you before. People always used to say 'Do you shop at Home Depot?' or 'Does your kid go to such and such school?' They want to know why they know me even if they don't know my name. I don't think that's a bad thing by the way I think it's nice to be kind of anonymously famous.
2 I was brought up with psychics and tarot cards. My mum was always told I was going to be in a boy band and be famous as a singer.
3 When you reach a certain status in Hollywood you have to play a lot of games to stay in the limelight. It becomes more about being famous than being an actor.
4 I wasn't a kid who moved out from Iowa with aspirations of becoming a famous star – I was intrigued by the idea of filmmaking and by the idea of what it would be like to play a character in a movie.
