1 Age

  • 1. Well I'm in my 60s now. I finally look it I think. People until I was 60 would always say they thought I looked younger which I think without flattering myself I did but I think I certainly have as George Orwell says people do after a certain age the face they deserve.
  • 2. Old age is a special problem for me because I've never been able to shed the mental image I have of myself – a lad of about 19.
  • 3. Everyone takes pause at 40. It's the age you have to assess everything in your life. It's the fictitious marker that's always coming up when you're young. The world really does look at you to kind of have it together by 40 and be successful by 40. Whatever success means.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I really love the internet. They say chat-rooms are the trailer park of the internet but I find it amazing.
  • 2. My relationship with my mom is so amazing. We never got to have that stage that people go through like when you're 13 and you think you're too cool for your parents. When you're embarrassed by them and stuff. We never went through that because I was constantly working and she constantly had to be there.
  • 3. You can be the best actor in the world but if you don't have that one lucky moment it kind of doesn't matter. There are a lot of amazing actors who will never get the chance to prove themselves because they won't have that one lucky moment.

3 Anger

  • 1. I've purged myself of bitterness and anger and remained open to love.
  • 2. Anger elicits anger fear elicits fear no matter how well meaning we may be.
  • 3. The anger that appears to be building up between the sexes becomes more virulent with every day that passes. And far from women taking the blame… the fact is that men are invariably portrayed as the bad guys. Being a good man is like being a good Nazi.

4 Anniversary

  • 2. So I think you have to marry for the right reasons and marry the right person.
  • 3. We had a relationship that lasted 44 years. Herbert and I lived together 10 years before we were married. He always gave me a little heart for whatever anniversary.
