Let me read you some of my poetry. My poetry just takes me to another level.

The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.

I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time in my head and I occasionally snip off a length.

1 Age

  • 1. I vividly remember being 14. That was the age when I started to get happy: I started being a writer and stopped being a loser.

2 Amazing

  • 1. We have an amazing fan base all around the world that love 40FT.
  • 2. I love to go shopping at Target. They have so much stuff there you can buy almost anything it's really amazing.
  • 3. My favorite laser disk ever was the laser disk for The Graduate which had a commentary track that wasn't even the filmmakers it was a professor some film criticism guy who just happen to be this amazing commentator who went off into the whole theory of comedy.

3 Anger

  • 1. Bosnia is under my skin. It's the place you cannot leave behind. I was obsessed by the nightmare of it all there was this sense of guilt and an anger that has become something much deeper over these last years.
  • 2. How often it is that the angry man rages denial of what his inner self is telling him.
  • 3. I'm an angry person angrier than most people would imagine I get flashes of anger. What works for me is working out when it's useful to use that anger.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I have for some time urged that a nuclear abolition summit to mark the effective end of the nuclear era be convened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 70th anniversary of the bombings of those cities with the participation of national leaders and representatives of global civil society.
  • 2. This anniversary serves to help remind the American people that in the wake of one of the greatest political scandals and misuse of power in our history as a nation scandal produced important reforms that served this nation well for two decades.
  • 3. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns said they pulled all their political ads today in observance of the September 11th anniversary. But politics wasn't very far offstage. The Obama campaign sees foreign policy as an advantage this year.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I try to give people a different way of looking at their surroundings. That's art to me.
  • 2. I have designed the most buildings of any living American architect.
  • 3. The intellectual architecture means focusing on doing great work instead of focusing on agency politics.
