I think that Americans should gradually begin to adopt positive behavior rather than doing evil. They should not expect an immediate reaction in return for their positive measures. It will take time.

  • 1. A newspaper is lumber made malleable. It is ink made into words and pictures. It is conceived born grows up and dies of old age in a day.
  • 2. I vividly remember being 14. That was the age when I started to get happy: I started being a writer and stopped being a loser.

I'm still waiting for that moment where my age catches up with my appearance.

2 Amazing

  • 1. There are a lot of people with a lot of money and I'm amazed they don't understand what a great pleasure it can be to give.

3 Anger

4 Anniversary

  • 1. This year as we celebrate the 230th anniversary of America's independence please remember the symbols that are sacred to this country. Fly Old Glory high and show your respect and admiration for this great nation and the values we hold dear.
  • 2. And currently there are four to five new works in the pipeline for upcoming celebrations such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Federation my 50th Birthday and Sydney Dance Company's 25th Anniversary.
  • 3. The chances of a reunion now are less likely. I was thinking of having a 40th anniversary of the band but now they are really another band so it's all a bit weird.

5 Architecture

  • 1. That Moorish architecture is all over the place of course. It affects me everywhere I see it as it does so many people. But Brand Library was a special place to me and I know I've paid homage to it many times in my drawings.
  • 2. It seems a fantastic paradox but it is nevertheless a most important truth that no architecture can be truly noble which is not imperfect.
  • 3. Warmth isn't what minimalists are thought to have.
