2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. That's the conundrum of cartoon stripping as opposed to political cartoons. When your anger is the driving force of your drawing hand failure follows. The anger is OK but it has to serve the interests of the heart frankly.
  • 2. A wonderful emotion to get things moving when one is stuck is anger. It was anger more than anything else that had set me off roused me into productivity and creativity.
  • 3. Being told about the effects of climate change is an appeal to our reason and to our desire to bring about change. But to see that Africans are the hardest hit by climate change even though they generate almost no greenhouse gas is a glaring injustice which also triggers anger and outrage over those who seek to ignore it.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. A wedding anniversary is the celebration of love trust partnership tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.
  • 2. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.
  • 3. This year as we celebrate the 230th anniversary of America's independence please remember the symbols that are sacred to this country. Fly Old Glory high and show your respect and admiration for this great nation and the values we hold dear.

5 Architecture

  • 1. My buildings don't speak in words but by means of their own spaciousness.
  • 2. I'm often called an old-fashioned modernist. But the modernists had the absurd idea that architecture could heal the world. That's impossible. And today nobody expects architects to have these grand visions any more.
  • 3. The work of art shows people new directions and thinks of the future. The house thinks of the present.
