Feudal societies don't create great cinema we have great theatre. The egalitarian societies create great cinema. The Americans the French. Because equality is sort of what the cinema deals with. It deals with stories which don't fall into 'Everybody in their place and who's who ' and all that. But the theatre's full of that.

There's a remarkable amount of sexism on TV. When male characters are flawed they're interesting deep and complex. But when female characters are flawed they're just a mess. It's good to put more flawed but interesting female characters out there because it promotes equality.

'Vote Love' means vote equality. It means vote change. It means vote what's right for humanity.

We will have bigger bureaucracies bigger labor unions and bigger state-run corporations. It will be harder to be an entrepreneur because of punitive taxes and regulations. The rewards of success will be expropriated for the sake of attaining greater income equality.

1 Age

  • 1. It is well for the world that in most of us by the age of thirty the character has set like plaster and will never soften again.

2 Amazing

  • 1. As a planning board commissioner I have to review the applications for development throughout the city and the bulk of those applications have been for the waterfront. I think the progress the waterfront has made is amazing.
  • 2. My relationship with my mom is so amazing. We never got to have that stage that people go through like when you're 13 and you think you're too cool for your parents. When you're embarrassed by them and stuff. We never went through that because I was constantly working and she constantly had to be there.
  • 3. I saw 'The Artist.' It's really beautiful and it's all done to the letter with all the silent film techniques. The costumes were amazing and the dog is so good.

3 Anger

  • 1. To talk about balance it's easier to talk about what's out of balance. And I think anytime that you have any disease and disease meaning lack of ease lack of flow… dis-ease. So any time there's disease you're out of balance whether it's jealousy anger greed anxiety fear.
  • 2. I think we all have a lot of darkness in our bellies. As an actor the challenge of tapping into that reaching down into that sadness or anger is very therapeutic.
  • 3. When angry count to ten before you speak. If very angry count to one hundred.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.
  • 2. On this important anniversary we must remember that while we have come a long way in eliminating barriers critical work remains to ensure all Americans can live up to their full potential.
  • 3. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.

5 Architecture
