I grew up in the '80s and there was no bigger group than New Edition in R&B. I broke my piggy bank so me and my mom could go to a New Edition concert together. 1 An agent saw one of the plays I did at ACT but my mom was like No she's too young. I became so annoying that a year and a half later she just couldn't stand hearing me any more!
2 Cancer has been unfortunately in my life. My mom's best friend is kicking ass in her battle with breast cancer. Both of my grandmas had cancer. I recently lost a friend to cancer.
3 I spend so much time with my parents. My mom and I were joined at the hip for five years. There was not one moment when I wasn't with her.
