3 Anger

  • 1. If anger proceeds from a great cause it turns to fury if from a small cause it is peevishness and so is always either terrible or ridiculous.
  • 2. Beware of him that is slow to anger for when it is long coming it is the stronger when it comes and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.
  • 3. When I was younger I was terrified to express anger because it would often kick-start a horrible reaction in the men in my life. So I bit my tongue. I was left to painstakingly deal with the aftermath of my avoidance later in life in therapy or through the lyrics of my songs.

4 Anniversary
