I believe our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty and freedom. It is the history of our nation and it's marked by the blood of those who died defending it. Previous Article One of the things that bothers me most is the growing belief in the country that security is more important than freedom. It ain't.
1 We live in a land like no other – a land of freedom and opportunity unparalleled on the face of the globe.
2 We've got to understand that the whole nature of the way American democracy guards its freedom has been changed.
3 When public access to voting is impaired or when public confidence in voting is diluted democracy suffers and our freedom is less secure.
4 If technology has finally caught up with individual liberty why would anyone who loves freedom want to rethink that?
