1 Age

  • 1. I think a child should be allowed to take his father's or mother's name at will on coming of age. Paternity is a legal fiction.
  • 2. We tend to think of age only in time but I don't think it has much to do with time at all there's a whole load of other things. I've met 16-year-olds who are old and 90-year-olds who are young.
  • 3. Old age adds to the respect due to virtue but it takes nothing from the contempt inspired by vice it whitens only the hair.

2 Amazing

  • 1. Most actors want to sink their teeth into amazing material.
  • 2. Montana and I had a chemistry that was unbelievable. When I first came into the league he told me I added five years to his career and I just think we complimented each other very well and were able to do some amazing things out on the football field.
  • 3. Most of the people I know who work out seriously do so because they have such an amazing outlook on life. To be who I want to be I'm going to work out to be more positive more active. It's proactive.

3 Anger

  • 1. George wrote Taxman and I played guitar on it. He wrote it in anger at finding out what the taxman did. He had never known before then what could happen to your money.
  • 2. What starts the process really are laughs and slights and snubs when you are a kid. If your anger is deep enough and strong enough you learn that you can change those attitudes by excellence personal gut performance.
  • 3. We are losing sight of civility in government and politics. Debate and dialogue is taking a back seat to the politics of destruction and anger and control. Dogma has replaced thoughtful discussion between people of differing views.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. The chances of a reunion now are less likely. I was thinking of having a 40th anniversary of the band but now they are really another band so it's all a bit weird.
  • 2. Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.
  • 3. The 150th anniversary of Penn State will highlight what is important and good about this distinguished institution and the fine people and research that it produces.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Any work of architecture that has with it some discussion some polemic I think is good. It shows that people are interested people are involved.
  • 2. But the building's identity resided in the ornament.
  • 3. All architecture is great architecture after sunset perhaps architecture is really a nocturnal art like the art of fireworks.
