1 Age

  • 1. I think that age as a number is not nearly as important as health. You can be in poor health and be pretty miserable at 40 or 50. If you're in good health you can enjoy things into your 80s.
  • 2. I hate to mention age but I come from an era when we weren't consumed by technology and television.
  • 3. It begins and ends with money. It's absurd in this day and age when we need so much money for education health for people that a $100 million dollars can be spent on a film. It's obscene.

2 Amazing

  • 1. If we're given a number of circumstances to deal with the brain goes into this mode of trying to find a solution and it's amazing how good we are at it.
  • 2. While I'm not a celebrity it's such a weird concept that society has cooked up for us. Astronauts and teachers are much more amazing than actors.
  • 3. I seriously love to cook… My grandmother was an amazing cook. As a kid I used to help her make handmade pasta Cavatelli and Ravioli. It was one of my favorite things to do. I love the idea of making whatever is in the fridge into something.

3 Anger

  • 1. Never go to bed angry stay up and fight.
  • 2. I guess because I had such a horrible life growing up going from place to place not knowing what I was gonna do and ending up being homeless there was a lot of pain and a lot of anger that was coming out through my guitar playing.
  • 3. Hatred is settled anger.

4 Anniversary

5 Architecture

  • 1. When I'm in London Claridge's is a great favourite. I'm a big fan of art deco architecture and the rooms are extraordinary.
  • 2. In any architecture there is an equity between the pragmatic function and the symbolic function.
  • 3. Until the Eighties Oslo was a rather boring town but it's changed a lot and is now much more cosmopolitan. If I go downtown I visit the harbour to see the tall ships and the ferries and to admire the modern architecture such as the Opera House or the new Astrup Fearnley Museum on the water's edge.
