For any new technology there is always controversy and there always some fear associated with it. I think that's just the price of being first sometimes.
People don't want to talk about death just like they don't want to talk about computer security. Maybe I should have named my workstation Fear. People are so motivated by fear.

If the markets had behaved badly that would obviously add to people's sense of alarm… but there has been a lot of reassurance coming particularly in the way the Brits handled all this. There seems to be no great fear that something like that is going to happen here.
