These days too many of us seem inclined to cover our ears close our eyes and blindly follow the most narrow conservative tenets of religion or else seek comfort in the ancient traditions of New Age ritual.

There is no age height or weight requirement to skate. It is good exercise no matter what your age is. If you want to be competitive most start young. But I practice with many adult competitors.

1 Age

  • 1. Age should not have its face lifted but it should rather teach the world to admire wrinkles as the etchings of experience and the firm line of character.
  • 2. Youth cannot know how age thinks and feels. But old men are guilty if they forget what it was to be young.
  • 3. I'm never overawed by a situation and I think that's because I've always looked several years older than I am. So because people were treating me like I was 40 when I was 29 I've always felt in control of a situation. People used to say when you're 32 you'll look 32. 2 Amazing

  • 1. If you set goals and go after them with all the determination you can muster your gifts will take you places that will amaze you.
  • 2. 'Aladdin' was probably my favorite Disney animation when I was a kid. The animation was great and Robin Williams was unbelievable as the Genie. 'Aladdin' was an amazing adventure and the lead character was a hero for guys which I loved. It wasn't a princess or a girl beating the odds it was a street rat. That seemed really cool to me.
  • 3. Spinning has been such an amazing part of my exercise. I love the music the energy and the sweat. It's a tough class which makes me feel like I've really accomplished something. It's a great way to burn fat and lean out the body. An all-around win!

3 Anger

  • 1. I love each and every one of you but like my own family you thrill you frustrate you anger.
  • 2. I think a certain amount of anger has been a fuel of mine if you want – but also some sort of sadness and plain mischief of course.
  • 3. Anger is a short madness.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Experts on romance say for a happy marriage there has to be more than a passionate love. For a lasting union they insist there must be a genuine liking for each other. Which in my book is a good definition for friendship.
  • 2. A wedding anniversary is the celebration of love trust partnership tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.
  • 3. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The bungalow had more to do with how Americans live today than any other building that has gone remotely by the name of architecture in our history.
  • 2. The ancient Romans built their greatest masterpieces of architecture their amphitheaters for wild beasts to fight in.
  • 3. We build buildings which are terribly restless. And buildings don't go anywhere. They shouldn't be restless.
