1 Age

  • 1. I want to be part of the resurgence of things that are tangible beautiful and soulful rather than just give in to the digital age. But when I talk to people about this they just say 'Yeah I know what you mean ' and stare at their mobiles.
  • 2. I can feel the 60S looming. In my profession I've just moved along with my age. By thinking in decades rather than whether someone's 42 or 47 you can give yourself a whole 10 years to turn yourself around in.
  • 3. We prefer world law in the age of self-determination to world war in the age of mass extermination.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I believe in incentivizing people. If you can incentivize people in anything whether it's in politics in life in spirituality in business just take care of folks. Incentivize them and all of a sudden it's amazing the difference that you'll see.
  • 2. I have my favourite fashion decade yes yes yes: '60s. It was a sort of little revolution the clothes were amazing but not too exaggerated.
  • 3. I've also long since realized that the way to really engage children is to give out prizes it's amazing how it concentrates their minds.

3 Anger

  • 1. To talk about balance it's easier to talk about what's out of balance. And I think anytime that you have any disease and disease meaning lack of ease lack of flow… dis-ease. So any time there's disease you're out of balance whether it's jealousy anger greed anxiety fear.
  • 2. Anger is implanted in us as sort of sting to make us gnash with our teeth against the devil to make us vehement against him not to set us in array against each other.
  • 3. For me music is a vehicle to bring our pain to the surface getting it back to that humble and tender spot where with luck it can lose its anger and become compassion again.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Each year on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth America has the opportunity to reflect on our nation's progress towards the realization of his dream.
  • 2. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.
  • 3. That there's no more important decision in life than who you marry.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Every building is a prototype. No two are alike.
  • 2. The speed of change makes you wonder what will become of architecture.
  • 3. Technological considerations are of great importance to architecture and cities in the informational society.
