Obviously the anti-ERA people are tickled about my ordeal because it proves that the ERA breaks up families. When they point out that feminism is a dangerous thing I just say marriage is pretty precarious too.

In response to our fast-food culture a 'slow food' movement appeared. Out of hurried parenthood a move toward slow parenting could be growing. With vital government supports for state-of-the-art public child care and paid parental leave maybe we would be ready to try slow love and marriage.

Traditional marriage between a man and a woman has been a cornerstone of our society for generations. If we are going to change that it ought to be done by the will of the people.

  • 1. TV is sort of the only way to go for an actress my age to make a decent salary with independent films you just can't.

2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. I have a right to my anger and I don't want anybody telling me I shouldn't be that it's not nice to be and that something's wrong with me because I get angry.
  • 2. Hatred is inveterate anger.
  • 3. That's the conundrum of cartoon stripping as opposed to political cartoons. When your anger is the driving force of your drawing hand failure follows. The anger is OK but it has to serve the interests of the heart frankly.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. The 150th anniversary of Penn State will highlight what is important and good about this distinguished institution and the fine people and research that it produces.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Liquid architecture. It's like jazz – you improvise you work together you play off each other you make something they make something. And I think it's a way of – for me it's a way of trying to understand the city and what might happen in the city.
