1 Age

  • 1. I never played much golf as a kid. I caddied quite a bit but never got serious into golf until about age 15.
  • 2. I came back to work when my children were two months old. At that early age they seem to have little awareness of anybody but their Raggedy Ann dolls so it wasn't a matter of them missing me. I was missing them.
  • 3. I was born in ancient times at the end of the world in a patriarchal Catholic and conservative family. No wonder that by age five I was a raging feminist – although the term had not reached Chile yet so nobody knew what the heck was wrong with me.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I like making pies. I have a bunch of fruit trees in my backyard. My loquat tree sprouted and I like making loquat pie. They're really hard to peel and everything and it took me forever but they make the best pies. They're amazing.
  • 2. Before 'Twilight ' occasionally I would get the 'Hey are you that girl from that movie?' but no one knew my first and last name. The fans of the saga are amazing and it's very flattering.
  • 3. I tend to not watch things that are current. And then if everybody swears it's amazing then I'll like watch the whole series in a weekend.

3 Anger

  • 1. No man can think clearly when his fists are clenched.
  • 2. When you start suppressing feelings at an early age it hurts you down the road. Full expression of anger and pain is very important.
  • 3. I did not think that I was angry but clearly anger was reflected in my writing. I did not think that I had been affected emotionally but it was clear from my writing that I was still very emotional about the trial some six months after it ended.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. And currently there are four to five new works in the pipeline for upcoming celebrations such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Federation my 50th Birthday and Sydney Dance Company's 25th Anniversary.
  • 2. Never tell a secret to a bride or a groom wait until they have been married longer.
  • 3. 1 month ago the American people stopped to remember the third anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq war. We thought first and foremost of the selflessness patriotism and heroism by our troops our National Guard and Reserves.

5 Architecture

  • 1. First there is the bare beauty of the logs themselves with their long lines and firm curves. Then there is the open charm felt of the structural features which are not hidden under plaster and ornament but are clearly revealed a charm felt in Japanese architecture.
  • 2. Escape from the architecture ghetto is one of the major drivers and has been from the very beginning.
  • 3. Rationalism is the enemy of art though necessary as a basis for architecture.
