As an actor it's more interesting to play a nerd than anything else. It's a lot more fun – you don't worry about 'what's my hair like?' in the morning or 'which is my great angle?'
It's not like I just have to go to Washington and go to the White House everyday and go to the same press conference at 10 in the morning and then be briefed at 4 in the afternoon and then get a story on at 6.

I don't know any other lifestyle. I get up in the morning and I really do feel that the world is my oyster and I start that way the same as I would if I were preparing to write a song: put a blank piece of paper up on the piano and you go for it.
